 Welcome to Austin Elementary School 300 High Street Vermillion, SD 57069 605-677-7010 Mrs. Kim Johnson, Principal Elementary students attend one of the two neighborhood schools. Both schools are served by highly-qualified staff who provide a warm and safe learning environment for students. In addition to the basic curriculum (reading, math, science and social studies), students attend physical education, music and computer classes weekly. With the whole child as the focus, emphasis is placed on academic standards and social skills.
